Never lose the child-like wonder.  It’s just too important.  It’s what drives us.”

Workshops in Letterpress, Art, & Design

Our History

Wonder in Color is a sister company of Bumblebee Press, a letterpress workshop, wholesale stationer and botanical press.

After many years of making and doing, we're opening our doors to teach some of what we know.  We've lived and breathed learning and creating new products with old world techniques + modern know how.

Can't wait to share with you!

A Note from Our Founder

Hi!  I'm Julie.  Some of you know me as a letterpress printer or from the wholesale gift and furniture markets as the founder of Bumblebee Press.  If we haven't met yet, nice to meet you!

For the past few decades my work has centered around making things with my hands and learning as I go. I've been lucky, it's been fun, and sometimes hard.  The one thing that's carried me through every challenge has been a sense of wonder.  It's led me to learn more things than I can count.

Wonder in Color was born out of wanting to share what I've learned, create a space where a community of artists can share their gifts, and to provide resources for creativity. Wonder is the first step. It can make your day a little better.  It also fuels innovation and creates change in our world.

I'm excited to create some new things and learn with you!

You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
